2023 will be an exciting year for Bipolar Bows. We will be artists in Residence in Dranouter music center, where we will maken a new program with silent movies. Also, our second album is ready to be released!

Great news! Bipolar Bows was chosen as the winner of the Flanders Folk Award in the 'Most Promising Band' category. You can watch the award show here (11 febr 2021).

Some nice reviews came in about our new album. We are also looking very much forward to our online concert on the 4th of March at Studio Trad.

November 2020

Our album Krunčhug is out now on CD! Listen and Order here, or go to your favorite streaming platform to stream our first single ‘Belgiisko Horo’. Vinyl will be available from January 2021. Full album streaming will be possible from the 19th of December.

And we have more great news! Bipolar Bows has been nominated by the Flemish Folk Awards for ‘most promising band’.

Unfortunately most of our gigs have been cancelled, but our album release on the 14th of November might still be happening! Click here for tickets.

September 2020

We have great news! Our debut album ‘Krunčhug’ is almost ready to be printed! We have our big release show on the 14th of November 2020 ‘Bij de vieze gasten (Gent, BE), followed by some smaller gigs. We look forward to see you all there!

January 2020

We had a great time during our december tour, playing in all kinds of small venues around Belgium and the Netherlands. Our year 2019 ended with a concert on ‘Folkmarathon’ Ghent, where we met with our great musical friends from all over the world to give 2020 a good start.

And a good start it was! The first weekend of 2020, we recorded our first album in Room 13 studio (Ghent, Belgium). We had a live concert in studio with our favorite audience. We take a short break now to work on the mixing and mastering process of the album. Next stop: Umefolk (Sweden)!!! Hope to see you there!
